My Story

A lifelong passion

I'm Claire, I'm 36 and I was born in Brittany, France, with my feet in the water and dance in my heart. Thanks to my mother, a dance teacher, I started dancing at the age of three. From my early years in ballet and modern dance, I have explored many styles, from street jazz to ballroom dancing, as well as belly dancing and musical. This diversity allows me to draw from a rich palette to create an elegant and personalized first dance. My coaching is warm and tailored, with a teaching approach based on adaptability and attentive listening.

The Beginning

In 2016, a friend announced her wedding. Spontaneously, I offered to help with her first dance : she accepted, and that’s where it all began! It was love at first sight: getting to know the couple better, designing a custom project, guiding two beginners until they felt confident dancing in front of their loved ones, and seeing the assurance shine in their eyes on the big day. What an incredible joy and sense of pride!

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of coaching many couples, friends, family, and even strangers, with the same passion every time. Seeing them grow, gain confidence, and truly enjoy dancing together is what drives me to offer each couple a unique and unforgettable experience.

Frequently asked questions

Sessions

How long does a session last?

Each session lasts between 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes—just the right amount of time to make progress without overloading your brain or your feet (especially if you’re a beginner!).

Do you offer other dance services, like a flash mob or a dance with the bridesmaids?

Of course! I love creative projects. Whether it’s the father of the bride, the bridal party, or a full-blown flash mob, I’ll tailor everything to your needs. The price will depend on the project’s complexity and the number of participants.

I’m worried about embarrassing myself dancing in front of my guests

That’s a completely normal fear! But with a little practice, you’ll be amazed at how much joy you’ll feel dancing and sharing this moment with your loved ones. My approach is all about understanding your needs, preferences, and limits to craft a dance that feels authentic and comfortable for both of you. If any moves don’t feel right, I’ll adjust them until you’re 100% confident. Remember, your smiles and emotions on the big day will leave a lasting impression far more than technical perfection ever could. 😊

What style of dance do you offer?

Whether you dream of a romantic waltz, a fusion of salsa and modern jazz, or something completely unique that reflects your personality, I’ve got you covered. I blend and adapt styles to create a choreography tailored to your music, preferences, and vision. The possibilities are endless!

What if we’ve never danced before?

No worries—that’s true for most of my clients! I specialize in guiding beginners who’ve never stepped foot on a dance floor. Every session is designed to build your confidence in a fun, supportive way, teaching you the basics without pressure and ensuring you have a great time. Dance isn’t about innate talent—it’s about giving it a try and enjoying the process!

How does a session work?

Each session is designed to make you feel comfortable and help you progress at your own pace, all while having a great time!
We start with a few simple movements to music to loosen up the body. Then, we dive into the choreography: I’ll teach you the steps little by little, breaking them down first without music, then with it. We’ll go over them, connect them, and tweak them if needed so that you feel totally at ease. Nothing is set in stone—if a move doesn’t feel right, we’ll adjust it to make sure everything flows naturally.

As the sessions progress, we’ll keep reviewing what you’ve learned and gradually add new sections until we complete the choreography. Then, we’ll rehearse it again and again until the movements feel second nature to you. I’ll also give you plenty of tips on handling stage fright, moving in your outfit, and managing the attention of your guests. Everything you need to shine on your big day!

Planning

When should we start the sessions?

For a 5–6 hour package, it’s best to start at least 6 months before your wedding day. Starting 9 months ahead will give you extra peace of mind and more time to internalize the choreography. If you only have 3 months or less, it’s still possible, but we’ll need to speed up the process. Contact me, and we’ll see what works best for you!

Can we add sessions later on?

Absolutely! You can add sessions anytime, with an adjusted fee.

Can you help us choose the music?

Absolutely! I can even create a personalized mix if needed. Together, we’ll find the perfect track for you!

Where do the lessons take place?

For your confort, lessons can occur at your home, remotely or a mix of both.

In France, the feasibility will depend on where you live, as I operate mainly in Morbihan and Paris. Please contact me, and depending on your city and your project, we'll work together to define the number of sessions required and the format (home, remote, mix of the two)! Face-to-face lessons will take place at your home, and we can also rent a studio if necessary (at extra cost).

In Valencia, we can dance at your home, or in a quiet space in the Turia Park! We can also rent a studio if needed, for an additional fee. Note that travel expenses may apply depending on your location.

Do you offer a 100% online option?

Yes! If you prefer fully virtual sessions, I can guide you through your first wedding dance entirely online. After a phone consultation to discuss your project, I’ll provide virtual lessons and send you video tutorials for your choreography. I’ll also be available on WhatsApp for any questions.

Doing the lessons virtually has no negative impact on the effectiveness of the sessions. I make sure everything is practical and efficient !

Conditions

What are the payment terms?

You can pay in 3 or 4 installments at no extra cost, depending on the number of sessions. A deposit is required for the trial session, followed by a second payment before the next session. The balance must be settled before the final lesson.

What if I have a last-minute conflict? Can I reschedule?

Need to cancel? No problem—just give me at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a 15€ fee.

Are lessons available in different languages?

Yes! I offer lessons in French, English, and Spanish. Choose the language you’re most comfortable with—we’ll dance to the same rhythm!

Camille & Arnaud

Camille & Arnaud's first dance

🎶 Music: Epilogue - @Justin Hurwitz - La La Land

✨ The story

Camille and Arnaud entrusted me with their music and gave me carte blanche for the choreography. From there, I imagined a dance that resembled them: with emotion, gentleness, a bit of mischief, and above all far from the clichés of the conventional, marshmallowy ball opening.

Camille had already danced, but for Arnaud it was a first: he went along to the point of making the steps his own, exuding real confidence and playing with the movements !

Bonus: Arnaud is my brother, and this choreography is one of the very first I've had the opportunity to create 💛
